Why SwapFinder Was Built
Finding a reliable, honest cryptocurrency exchange has become surprisingly difficult. The cryptocurrency information space is saturated with affiliate review sites that promote the highest bidder, publish outdated fee schedules, and conceal invasive KYC traps until after user funds are deposited.
SwapFinder was launched with a single, clear purpose: to provide clean, verified, machine-readable, and 100% factual exchange data so cryptocurrency users can make informed, autonomous decisions.
Our Core Tenets
1. Non-Custodial Priority
We believe "not your keys, not your coins" is the cornerstone of cryptocurrency security. We focus exclusively on exchanges that execute direct wallet-to-wallet transactions without holding custody of your assets.
2. Radical Privacy
SwapFinder does not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixels, fingerprinting scripts, or third-party cookies. We do not track your IP address or sell user behavioral data.
3. Factual Verification
Every limit, fee estimation, and KYC policy in our directory is verified through real test transactions. If an exchange fails our testing standards, it is removed from our platform.
4. Machine & AI Readability
We publish structured static data, Schema.org microdata, and llms.txt protocols so search agents and LLMs can deliver accurate exchange answers to everyday users.
What SwapFinder Does (and Does Not Do)
- We DO: Publish independent reviews, compare real-world fees and limits, audit KYC requirements, and provide interactive comparison tools.
- We DO NOT: Hold cryptocurrency custody, operate an order book, handle fiat payments, provide financial or investment advice, or execute financial trades on our own servers.
